So I have maybe 8 work hours this coming week at my shitty job. Which means I am going to be extremely short on funds this month that I might need to pay bills and everything else.

I am currently going through all of my belongings and setting aside anything that I have never used and will never use to try to make some more money.

So, if you are at all interested in the following stuff, please stay tuned :) because I will be uploading images later and detailing everything. So far my list of things includes, but is not limited to:

  • Makeup
  • Jewelry
  • Hair extensions
  • Bath bombs
  • Clothing
  • Various Knicknacks

So, if you see this post and would like a first peek at my stuff before I post the images for everyone to see, please message me privately.

celestial-naiad

Hopefully I’ll be able to finish up all of my sorting today. I have a huge pile of stuff that is probably worth something to somebody. So stay tuned.

celestial-naiad

So I only have my jewerly sorted currently. And I’d like to preface this by saying it would behoove anyone that is interested to get more than one thing. A lot of stuff is priced at 5$. And you guys are gonna have to pay for part of the shipping fee too. So if you only want something that’s 5$ you’re gonna end up spending 15$. So you may want to make it worth your while.

That being said, if you’re fine with paying 15$ for a single 5$ item I am not going to tell you no lol.

Anyways here is what I’ve got so far:

image

Necklaces. From left to right they are:

1. Celtic thing with a yellow gem in the center. Was given to me by an ex and I have never worn it lol. 5$

2. Another celtic knot thing that was given to me by an ex. 5$

3 and 4. Attack on Titan necklaces. 5$ individually, 8$ if you buy them together.

5. Moon necklace. 5$

image

And here are some AoT rings and a pin. I’d like to sell them all together. 10$

image
image

So here we have:

1. Dragonstone(?) ring and earrings set. 10$

2. A simple gold ring. 2$

3. A pink gem ring. 5$

4 and 5. Lengend of Zelda earrings. Hylian Sheilds and Majora’s Mask or whatever its called. 5$ individually. 8$ if bought together.

image

From left to right:

1. Twisty earings. Never worn them. They’re nice. 5%

2. Set of 3 dragon bracelets. Black, gray, and white. They’re cute. 5$ for all three together.

3. Set of 6 round earrings. 10$

image
image

And this small heart shaped jewelry box. It’s got some weight to it. Pretty sure it’s made out of some kind of metal or the other. I’ve had it since I was like a toddler. Used to keep my earrings in it. 20$

I will be updating this later tomorrow with all of the clothes and other bullshit.

celestial-naiad

Alrighty so I’ve got some books here that somebody might like.

image

From top to bottom they are:

1. The Kite Runner- Pretty cool. It’s in okay condition. Just your average wear and tear around the edges of the book. 5$

2. The Land of Elyon books. I have all 5 books. They’re pretty good. I read them in like elementary school going into middle school. Somebody can have the whole set for 15$.

3. The Tales of Beedle the Bard- I am so tired of Harry Potter. Please take this away from me. It’s in grear condition. 5$

4. Divergent and Insurgent- pretty good condition. 10$ for both.

image

Aaaand this thing. Mass Effect Discovery. It’s a fairly short comic. I got it in a loot crate. 5$

image

I’ve also got this eos set that I never used. And a small tube of Coach Poppy scented lotion. You can have all of it for 8$

image

I’ve also got this unopened box of Pink knee high socks. 5$

celestial-naiad

image
image

I’ve also got these American Eagle shoes. They were 35 bucks as you can see from the tag I never took off. But I’m only gonna ask for 15$ for them. They’re size 71/2.

image
image

I’ve also got these black knee high boots. I never wore them. They are also size 71/2. Somebody can have them for 15$.

image
image

And I’ve got all this other knicknack stuff. From left to right we have:

1. An ugly sock kit. You can decorate your own socks with it. Theyre like ribbons ams pompoms and I think some glue in there. 4$

2. Some wooden roses. 50 cents each. 2$ for all of them.

3. A Cars Switch game. 10$

4. Lady (From Lady and the Tramp) in a present box figure. Got it from disney land a long time ago. Don’t need it anymore. 10$

5. Porcelain rabbit wearing overalls. 5$

celestial-naiad

Yall ready for clothes part 1? Lol

image

So to start with I’ve got this weird blue winter hoodie. The outside of the hood is patterned and so are the pockets. It’s a size medium and very thick. I usually wore it in the winter. Now I usually wear large or extra large because of my big bahonkahonks, but I can still fit pretty snuggly in this. It does surprisingly fit over my ass as well. You could probably wear this with leggings and whatnot. But this bitch was also expensive as hell. I’m only gonna ask for 25$ for it though.

image
image

I’ve got two scarves. The purple one is for winter. And the black one is really more for when you’re dressing up. 5$ each or 8$ if bought together.

image

I’ve got these blue c9 full length pants that I never wore or even took the tags off of. Size large. 10$

image

This is the dress I wore to the Homecoming Dance in my freshman year and then… never wore it again lol. It’s a sequin dress and has lots of stripes and spotted cat patterns on it. It is also strapless. It’s a size 13/14. 20$

image

Now this isn’t clothes related, but it is definitely a bag that I’m never gonna use and don’t even remember getting. It is a handmade bag though and very nice. 15$

image

And I have these two hoodies. One with skulls and the other has some galaxy pattern on it. I bought them and then never wore them. They don’t have size tags on them? But if I were to guess I’d say they are mediums. They’re too small for me now and they’re a little too big to be smalls. 10$ each or 15$ if bought together.

I have more clothes and shit still to go through so there is more coming.

celestial-naiad

Just so everyone knows and so I remember:

The AOT rings and necklaces are on hold for someone.

The skulls and galaxy hoodies and the brught blue winter goodie are all taken.

And the EOS stuff and pack of PINK knee high socks are on hold as well.

I was gonna say, I remembered something about how the IDF/Israel police was racist because they didn’t rape the palistenians they had in custody.

Nice to see the Antisemites out in their standard form lately though.

Probably upset because the women’s march is getting burned down because of their racist leaders.

the most iconic moment of medievalpoc in terms of being a bad history blog at least was when they tried to back up their assertion that ancient egypt engaged in trans-atlalntic trade and their sources were literally like 3 articles about the earliest fishing boats discovered in China, Ethiopia and Iroquois territory, a book that actually was about Egyptian maritime activity but which made no mention of any supposed Atlantic crossing and even implicitly suggested against that by pointing out how Egyptian maritime trade was primarily in the Eastern Medditeranean and Red Sea regions and then the last source mpoc cited was the only one that actually did make the claim that ancient Near East peoples crossed the Atlantic and reached the Americas except it turned out to be a book written by Mormons trying to prop up their racist doctrine that Native Americans are the degenerated descendents of Ancient Israelite colonists who were cursed to have darker skin

Monongahela, Pennsylvania (CNN)It sits on the banks of the Monongahela River like a monstrous monument to extinction.

With no fire in its belly and no smoke in its stacks, the rusting power plant provides only one sign of its former inhabitants, scribbled on a white board in a padlocked guard booth. “RIP Mitchell,” the handwriting reads. “You gave us a good few years.”

The Mitchell Power Station, just south of Pittsburgh, actually turned Pennsylvania coal into power for a good 65 years before the discovery of cheaper, cleaner forms of energy. As fracked natural gas and renewables like wind and solar undercut the price of coal, both Mitchell and the nearby Hatfield’s Ferry power plants were deactivated on the same day in 2013. Many in this corner of coal country blamed Obama-era regulations on their demise, so when a candidate named Donald Trump promised to end a so-called “war on coal,” they were ready to believe.

“We are putting our great coal miners back to work,” he repeated to rally crowds waving “Trump Digs Coal” signs. “I’m coal’s last shot.”

But thanks largely to free-market forces, more coal-fired power plants have been deactivated in Trump’s first two years in office then in Obama’s entire first term. When asked about the President’s claim to be the savior of coal, veteran miner and industry consultant Art Sullivan bristles.

“He’s trying to get their votes,” he says, standing by the fenced-off entrance to a mine not far from Mitchell where he once served as Face Boss, a coal industry term for managers. “He’s lying to them.”

For 52 years, Sullivan worked in mines around the world and, like many in western Pennsylvania, he remembers Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Ohio town hall where she said, “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”

In her book “What Happened,” Clinton devoted an entire chapter to the gaffe, which eclipsed her early campaign promise to provide a $30 billion aid package to struggling coal communities. Sullivan had his own thoughts. “What you need to say to coal miners is ‘We’re going to figure out a way to give you better, safer, healthier jobs.’ These guys and the few gals are simply too good. They are too capable to simply say that we don’t need you,” he said.

“They wanted hope,” Blair Zimmerman says of his fellow miners in Greene County, Pennsylvania, who put their faith in Trump. “If someone that has a sickness or a cancer and the doctor says ‘I can cure that,’ they believe … I can’t blame them or question them for trusting (Trump).”

Now a county commissioner, Zimmerman is part of a local group hoping to lure natural gas investors from Texas to drill in Pennsylvania and he scoffs at the Trump administration’s efforts to deregulate coal-fired power plants. “It will help this much,” he says, holding his fingers an inch apart. “But it won’t bring back coal as king.”
______

Leave it so CNN to turn something like this into a hit piece on Trump.

Hey we’re producing more clean energy and pouring less carbon into the atmosphere and we’re increasing the rate at which we switch over doing it.

Suck on that Donald.

esprit-des-temps

Honestly this is great news. That sits I don’t see any problem with the reporting…

I always thought Donald Trump’s campaign coal courting was pandering, and I’m glad this is a campaign promise that he hasn’t been able to keep for the sake of the environment. For that reason, I think the callout is justified.

That said, I think a smart move for him though would to help the miners find relevant jobs in the pil and gas industry though, rather than let them fail with their dying coal plants. It would be an easy political victory to say that he helped the miners when the companies were beyond saving.

i don’t understand millenials who say they eat out so often because they don’t have time to cook. because like…. cooking doesn’t have to take that long?

throw some pasta on to boil, chop some tomatoes and onions to saute in the pan with a bit of seasoning– boom, hot dinner in ten minutes.

put some leftover rice in a pan with soy sauce, whatever vegetables you have on hand, and an egg. fried rice in fifteen.

heck you can do loads with browning ground meat: tacos, meat sauce, meat pie, chili, all of which take maybe 10-20min to make.

if you don’t have time to cook meat (which only takes maybe ten minutes anyways, depending on the type), buy one of those whole rotisserie chickens from the store for like $5. you can get several meals worth out of that by adding it to other recipes (shredded chicken tacos, soup, throw it in the fried rice, etc)

like you don’t have to be super experienced at cooking to make your own food and make it quickly. dinner doesn’t need to take an hour to cook every night. all you need is a quick 30m grocery trip weekly or even biweekly for staples, and a few basic seasonings (salt, pepper, chili powder, etc).

i’m sorry but i just don’t understand when so many young people complain about being broke but then eat out for half their meals. 90% of the time it’s not because you “don’t have time”, it’s because you’re convinced you can’t and won’t even try

dangerbooze

It’s more so that we literally don’t have the money and less we don’t have time. In our case, the cost of living is what’s preventing us from grocery shopping. All of our money goes to rent, bills and gas. Food is kind of an afterthought at this point.

elfman98

Except that’s a lie, I gave my mother 50 bucks for my end of groceries, and then she proceeded to feed a family of 4 for almost 2 months with just that, so stop lying to yourselves, get off your asses and go shopping and buy off brand or in bulk

dangerbooze

$50 bucks goes to gas so I can work to keep a roof over my head. Shut the fuck up acting high and mighty because my situation doesn’t fit yours.

elfman98

50 bucks for gas a month? What kinda car you drive? And if it’s an older car that’s quite good, still though, my situation has fit dirt poor, if you stop eating out and instead shop for the cheapest grocery items you can make it by much easier trust me, my family has been so poor I had to wear Jean’s from when I was 10 when I turned 15, yet my family still ate at night when my mom shopped smart. It may not be what you want to eat but rice and hamburger meat will fill you up really well, or even just rice and vegetables, or just rice, quite acting like you have an excuse just because your poor

dangerbooze

$50 last two weeks at most because of work commute. As in I only drive when I absolutely need to to save on gas money and I still fill up twice a month. I gave up on eating every few days if it means I can afford rent while taking in what food I can get.

Stop acting like everyone’s situation fits yours because you don’t know the area I live, the financial situation we’re in, and you damn well don’t fucking understand that cost of living here doesn’t always include the price of grocery shopping.

Good for you that your mom shopped smart to support your family. Good for you that she passed that on to you and you have that knowledge. Good for you that you have that experience and still find a way to shit on people who are trying their best to get by and act like you’re doing them a favor by telling them to “stop being lazy”.

elfman98

First you’ve never stated where you live, only that you cant seem to afford groceries so you cant attack anyone on that point, second, I’m not saying your situation fits mine, all in saying is that you can pull it off, saying you cant and making excuses as to why you cant arent helping, but I’ll admit that alot of places in America have a huge cost of living, you got me there, but there are other people in a situation that does fit yours or is much worse, but still shop, also look out for sales, last bit af advice for you since you dont want it

dangerbooze

Where I live doesn’t matter. Your assumption that what worked out for your situation can apply to mine is what set me off. I’m not making comparisons about who’s situation is worse. I know there’s people who are worse off than I am, but you don’t see me acting like a dick and calling them lazy.

elfman98

I’m not calling you lazy, not you specifically at least (if I did my bad) but I’m just saying get off your ass and to the grocery stores and get better spending habits

dangerbooze

Oh I see.

The way I’m budgeting is my problem. The not having money for food because everything else eats my paycheck isnt the problem, but my spending is.

Did you even read what the fuck you typed before you hit post?

elfman98

Sometimes but not always, but hey you keep being mad when I was trying to calm both us down to have a more civil discussion, I started it but I was trying to right it, so you keep being mad I said dont eat like shit and I’ll go the other way

perniciouspussyparade

^ Imagine thinking that acting condescending is a good way to calm someone down

>no money to purchase food after primary bills paid

>“get off your ass and go grocery shopping”
